Pastor Johnathan “John” Sasser
A pastor, chaplain, teacher, and student of the church’s story.
Teaching truth. Offering care. Pointing people to Christ.
Pastor Johnathan “John” Sasser has served Ramsay Memorial Presbyterian Church since 2016. His ministry combines thoughtful biblical teaching, a deep appreciation for church history, and compassionate care for people in the ordinary and difficult moments of life.
Alongside his pastoral work, John serves as an industrial chaplain with Tyson Foods. He previously served in healthcare at St. Francis–Emory, experience that has strengthened his ministry of presence, prayer, and spiritual care.
John’s academic work reflects his love for Scripture and the story of the church. He earned a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2020 and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, with an emphasis in church history, from Columbia Theological Seminary.
